E-Learning

Discover my work as an e-learning developer

My work as an e-learning developer covers all phases of production: from the performance of needs analysis and the development of instructional design to the implementation of creative and interactive e-learnings with software tools such as Articulate Storyline, Rise or Adobe Creative Suite. Thanks to my extensive experience in the educational sector and my multimedia skills I have the necessary know-how to create attractive e-learning solutions for a wide range of target audiences.

A creative e-learning example: Cyber Diplomacy

Some of the highlights of the course

Project owner: United Nations Office for Disarmament Affairs (UNODA)
Tools: Articulate Storyline, Adobe Creative Cloud

This project was developed as a non-implemented draft for the Cyber Diplomacy e-learning course, a joint project from the United Nations for Disarmament Affairs and UNIDIR. The concept envisions an interactive and gamified digital environment where the content menu is designed as a city that learners can explore. Each location within the city represents a different aspect of cybersecurity:

  • House – Threats in the private sphere
  • Bank – Phishing and financial scams
  • Prison – Cybercrime and digital offenses
  • Hospital – Cyberthreats to critical infrastructures

In the hospital setting, learners can navigate through different rooms to understand how cyber threats can disrupt essential services and infrastructure systems.

Throughout the journey, learners collect pieces of a secret code upon completing each module. Once the full code is assembled and entered at the end of the experience, it unlocks a digital badge as a reward for completion.

The course incorporates a personalization feature, where the learner’s name, entered at the start, is dynamically displayed during key interactions. For instance, the learner may receive a fictive phishing email addressed personally to them, enhancing immersion and realism.

The entire experience is rich in gamification elements (exploration, progression, rewards, and narrative immersion) designed to make cybersecurity learning both engaging and meaningful, while maintaining the accuracy and seriousness of the content.

This prototype was developed in Articulate Storyline, using its interactive and variable-based features to support a personalized, story-driven, and accessible exploratory learning experience.
